Refund and Cancellation Policy

What happens to your subscription, access, and charges when you cancel.

DatumPilot offers paid plans as recurring subscriptions, billed through Stripe. You can choose a monthly or yearly billing interval. This policy describes exactly how cancellations, billing periods, and refunds work today.

Subscriptions and renewals

Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) until they are cancelled. Each renewal charges the price for the plan and interval you selected at checkout. The price, billing interval, and automatic-renewal terms are shown clearly at checkout, and you agree to them before any charge is made.

Cancellation

When a subscription is cancelled, it is set to cancel at the end of the current billing period. Your paid access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. At the end of that period the subscription does not renew, and your account reverts to the free plan. Cancelling stops future renewal charges; it does not end your access early.

You can cancel yourself at any time. Open Billing in your account and choose Manage subscription to open the Stripe Customer Portal, where you can cancel, update your payment method, and download invoices and receipts. If you prefer, you can also ask us to cancel by emailing support@datumpilot.com, and we will action it promptly.

Refunds and proration

DatumPilot does not issue automatic refunds, and it does not prorate or credit the unused portion of a billing period when you cancel. Because access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, cancelling part-way through a period does not generate a partial refund.

  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period (cancel-at-period-end).
  • No proration or partial credit is applied for the remainder of a paid period.
  • No refunds are issued automatically by the system, except where a refund is required by applicable consumer-protection law.

Where a refund is required by applicable consumer-protection law, or is granted as a discretionary exception, it is handled manually outside the automated billing flow. To request a refund or ask a billing question, email support@datumpilot.com.

EU/EEA and UK consumers: right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA or UK, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital services. When you start a paid subscription you ask us to begin providing the service immediately, and you acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed. For any part of the service not yet performed, you may still withdraw within 14 days by emailing support@datumpilot.com, and we will refund the corresponding amount. This does not affect your other statutory rights.

Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, the subscription may be marked past due and paid access can be interrupted until payment is resolved or the subscription is cancelled.
