Accessibility statement
Our commitment to making DatumPilot usable for everyone.
DatumPilot is committed to making its product accessible to as many people as possible. We design and build to target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 at level AA, which is the accessibility baseline codified in our design system.
What we aim for
- WCAG 2.2 AA color contrast for text and meaningful UI.
- Visible keyboard focus on every interactive control, and full keyboard operability.
- Reflow to 320 CSS pixels without two-dimensional scrolling, so content works on small screens and at high zoom.
- Never relying on color alone to convey state, severity, or confidence.
- Logical heading structure and semantic markup so the product works with assistive technology.
Standards and regulatory context
Our target of WCAG 2.2 AA is intended to align with common accessibility expectations across the regions where DatumPilot is available, including Canada, the EU/UK, and the United States, and it builds on the baselines those frameworks reference.
In Canada, the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) references WCAG 2.0 Level AA for web content for larger private organizations (generally those with 50 or more employees). IngeniVue Engineering Services Inc. is a small organization below that threshold, so the AODA web-content obligation does not yet strictly bind us; our voluntary WCAG 2.2 AA target exceeds that reference. In the EU, the European Accessibility Act (EAA) applies to many digital services from 28 June 2025 but exempts microenterprises (fewer than 10 staff and under €2 million annual turnover or balance sheet) that provide services; IngeniVue Engineering Services Inc. currently meets that microenterprise threshold. We track our size and will adopt these obligations as they begin to apply.
Ongoing work and limitations
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. As DatumPilot is an early-stage product, some areas may not yet fully meet our target, and we are actively improving them. We verify accessibility through automated and manual testing as part of our development process.
